13dpIUI, Third Time Not The Charm

Nope. Negative. My RE seemed really surprised. Like really surprised. I don't know why he would be. I wasn't.

Okay, yes, I am feeling discouraged. Very discouraged. Am I hopeless? No. Am I hopeful? Well, not really. But I'm trying. Honestly, right now I'm a little numb.

I am committed to this process, though. We'll do another IUI, then probably straight on to IVF. I will see this through.

DH and I had a long talk yesterday. He is more hopeful than me. He said that he thought I would be pleasantly surprised. I said, "When? When am I going to pleasantly surprised?" He said we just had to keep trying.

So, we'll keep trying.

  1. Darnit. I am so sorry. :(

You have a very good egg of a husband. Let him be your rock. Let him carry the torch of hope. Then go get 'em on the next cycle.

    Here for you!

  2. I am so sorry about the bfn. I agree w/ goodegg- let your hubby be strong when you don't feel like it! It is so hard to be in between hopeful and hopeless- I have definitely been there. (hug!)

  3. Ugh, I am sorry. My husband is always the optimist as well...maybe because he doesn't know as much about all this as I do, but he is just so blissfully optimistic. It's very comforting when I'm being a negative nellie.
    Hang in there.

  10. I'm so sorry. It is so disappointing to get another BFN. At least your husband is hopeful and wanting to continue this process in achieving pregnancy! It is so great to have a supportive partner!
